Togadia challenges Govt. to take over church or a mosque

Thiruvananthapuram: Dr. Pravin Togadia, the international Mahamantri of VHP inaugurated Hindu Cultural Centre at Kallur. In his speech, he challenged the Government to take over a church or a mosque. He said, “Mahammad Gazani destroyed the temple at Somnath, Babar destroyed Ayodhya and Aurangzeb tried to damage Sree Vishwanath temple at Kashi. We have read the above instances in history. The State Government of Kerala is Aurangzeb of present times as it is trying to take over and destroy Hindu temples. Now it is raising doubt about the existence of Rama. Will Sonia Gandhi raise doubt about unwed Mary giving birth to a boy?  Will anyone ask for proof to Muslims about Prophet Mohammed flying in the sky on a horse? ‘Ram-setu’ is a matter of our faith and the Government has no right to question our faith. There is a mention of a king from Mewar going to Jaffna in Sri Lanka by using the said bridge and marrying Rani Padmini. There is a mention of ‘Ram-setu’ in the manuscripts during the regime of Maharaja Krushnadevaraya. In a gazette published by the Government of Tamil Nadu, there is a mention of existence of ‘Ram-setu’ which was signed by the present Chief Minister Karunanidhi. (Now Karunanidhi says that Sree Rama is a fictitious character – Editor). Smt. Shashikala of Hindu Aikya Vedike said that terrorism has spread all over the nation and should be paid back in the same coin, with ‘Blow for a blow’ policy
