

Solapur, Maharashtra – Self-defence training builds self-confidence, discipline, and courage; therefore, students should acquire self-defence skills alongside their academic education, expressed Monika Kothe, wife of local BJP MLA Devendra Kothe, during a four-day camp organised at the Vishnupant Kothe Memorial English School. The camp was organised on the occasion of the 89th birth anniversary of the late Tatyasaheb Vishnupant Kothe.
Hindu Janajagruti Samiti conducted self-defence training and demonstrations for the students on the first day of the camp.

Demonstrations in karate, lathi-kathi (stick fighting), and nunchaku were presented under the guidance of instructors Yash Mugdyal, Lingraj Hulle, Kum. Shrutika Pogul, Gautami Sita, and Ruchita Adam.
Present on the occasion were Dr. Radhikatai Chilka, BJP Corporator Satyanarayan Gurram, Ramesh Yannam, Nirmalkumar Kakade, Principal Pushpa Nair, and others.
