No girl will fall into the ‘Love Jihad’ trap if she abides by Hindu Dharma – Kranti Petkar, HJS

Program on ‘Love Jihad and the Importance of Hindu Culture’ at Rahuri (Ahilyanagar)

Kranti Petkar,

Rahuri (District Ahilyanagar, Maharashtra) – Currently the incidents of love jihad and violence against women are increasing day by day. From very young girls to 70-year-old women are targeted, there being no age limit. A few days ago, a news that fanatics have so far brutally killed more than 60 Hindu girls through love jihad has come to fore. It was recently reported that an average of 70 girls between the ages of 18 and 25 go missing every day in Maharashtra alone. If you look for the underlying reasons, it is that Hindu girls are not given education on Dharma. Due to this, our culture and traditions are being forgotten and religious fanatics are taking advantage of this. No girl will fall into the love jihad trap if she abides by Hindu Dharma, asserted Ms Kranti Petkar of the Ranragini Wing of HJS. She was speaking at a program organised by the Sakal Hindu Samaj on ‘Love Jihad and the Importance of Hindu Culture’ at Pandurang Lawns in Rahuri. More than 250 women and girls attended this lecture.

Mrs. Nalinitai Vayal (Dharma Jagran Manch Ranragini) said, “Women and girls trapped in love jihad are deliberately converted, forced into prostitution, sold, etc. After tricking Hindu girls into love jihad, fanatics are paid according to the caste of Hindu girls. Girls are harassed by these fanatics outside schools and colleges or lured into love nets by fanatics who hide their identity. It is time that all sisters are awakened to this conspiracy.”
