Effigy of Author thrashed with shoes for denigrating Lord Ganesh!

Ahmednagar: Spontaneous response from people was received for the ‘Jode Mara (Hit with shoe)’ campaign against Vishwasrao Deshmukh, author of the controversial book ‘Ganapatichi Sangeet Pretyatra (Musical funeral of Lord Ganesh)’ desecrating Lord Ganesh. In the issue of Dainik Sanatan Prabhat, information about the controversial book was published to create awareness among Hindus and a complaint was also lodged against the author. However, no action has been taken against him so far. Police officers are giving only assurances to take action.

The author, stooping to a very low level, has made deplorable statements in the said book like ‘deities are created only for sexual exploitation’. Police have been trying to avoid arresting the anti-Hindu author despite such grave denigration of deities. Hindus have therefore, started a signature campaign and ‘Jode Mara’ movement against Vishwasrao Deshmukh. A warning has been given by Hindus that if within two days, Vishwasrao is not arrested, the agitation will be intensified. Hindus feelings have been hurt and police will be responsible for the rage of Hindus for inaction against the author. Leaders of many Hindu organizations and saints participated in the agitation. Beginning of the agitation was done by hitting a shoe at the effigy of the author by Sree Swatmanandpuriji Maharaj.

(Congratulation to the Hindus who protest against the denigration of Lord Ganesh. Such Hindus are the real strength of Hindu Dharma. Editor)
