Encouraging response of devout Hindus in workshop held by HJS at Navi Mumbai

Navi Mumbai : Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) held a workshop at Sanpada on spiritual practice and increasing qualities in self. Sou. Sneha Harmalkar of Sanatan Sanstha explained importance of spiritual practice and its inevitability in life. She also explained that practical part is important in spiritual practice and it would protect us in the forthcoming period of crisis.

Dr. (Sou.) Mamata Desai spoke on the importance of removal of personality defects and ego while undertaking spiritual practice. She explained how this process helps in overcoming our defects which create obstacles on the path of spiritual practice and how it also helps in saving valuable spiritual practice undertaken by us but which gets used up for cleansing us off our wrong deeds and sins committed due to our defects while she gave emphasis on the process as it is a key to leading happy and blissful life.

Highlights  

1. Participating devout Hindus spontaneously asked questions and gave answers when questioned during the guidance.

2. One participant asked for paper and pen and wrote down points explained in the lecture.

3. Shri. Lakshman Ursal, a reader of Sanatan periodicals liked the workshop held by HJS and showed interest in attending more of such workshops.

4. The participants liked the session wherein process of removal of personality defects and ego was explained and wanted to have detailed information on the same.
