Sanatan Sanstha and HJS extend help to flood-affected people of Maharashtra and Karnataka

Only spiritual practice can protect you in period of crisis; so, increase your ‘sadhana’ and acquire grace of God !  

Owing to incessant rain in last few days lashing few districts of Maharashtra and Karnataka, areas are flooded at many places. Thousands of people are caught in such situation; resulting in loss of millions of rupees. Government machinery and many social, patriotic and devout Hindu organizations have come forward to extend help and rescue flood-hit areas and people and they are doing their best to help; among them are Sanatan Sanstha, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti and other pro-Hindu organizations. These organizations are distributing food, grain, clothes, drinking water etc; besides medicines and medical help. Along with the same, Sanatan seekers and HJS activists are also explaining to the flood-affected people about ‘sadhana’ like importance of chanting God’s name etc.

Essential commodities and medicines distributed at Ankalkhop (Dist. Sangli)

Ankalkhop (Dist. Sangli) : On 11th August, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) provided assistance to flood-stricken people of Suryavanshi Mala at Ankalkhop. Shri. Madan Sawant and Shri. Anil Kadane of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS), Shri. Surendra Bhasme, Shri. Ravi Ghadge of Sanatan Sanstha and devout Hindu activists viz. Shri. Ravi Sathe and Shri. Santosh Bandarkar participated in the assistance.

Rice-grain, onion, pulses, potatoes, chutney, oil, wheat-flour, match-boxes, biscuits, clothes, sugar, tea powder, towels-caps, mats, saris, children’s clothes etc along with medicines were distributed to flood-hit people. People staying at New English Girls’ School, Ashta were also provided essential commodities.Bavachi village by distributing food and clothes at Raibag in Karnataka. Shri. Jayanand Hiremath of ‘Patanjali Yogapeetha’ and other devout Hindus joined including Shri. Vinod Kalage.

Chavare (Hatkanangale) : Sanatan Sanstha’s Dr. (Sou.) Sharadini Kore and Dr. (Sou.) Shilpa Kothavale provided food to flood-hit people of Chavare in Hatkanangale taluka on 11th August. Local residents, Shri. Shivaji Gurup, Dy. Sarpanch Shri. Bhagavan Patil and Police-Patil Shri. Dilip Ghodake were present on the occasion.

More than 400 flood-hit people are provided shelter at this place and aid is being received locally so also from other places.

HJS and Bajarang Dal activists extend help to flood-hit people at Diggewadi (Karnataka)

Activists of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) and Bajarang Dal provided aid to flood-hit people at Diggewadi, Raibag in Karnataka. River Krushna was flooded and many areas were affected due to flood. R. R. Group and activists of HJS collected things required for daily use and grains from people and distributed them to flood-hit people of Ganji village.

Devout Hindus attending ‘Dharmashikshan’ classes held by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) and Sanatan seekers went to rescue of people at Gadag in Dharwad district, who were affected due to flooding of River Malaprabha at Holeallur village. They were provided rice, other food items and clothes. Shri. Manjunath Belari, husband of Sanatan seeker Sou. Mangala Belari travelled 35 kms to distribute food and clothes to flood-hit people of Konnur. Sanatan’s lady-seekers from Gokak collected things required for daily use from shops and distributed them to flood-stricken people.

Devout Hindus distributing aid to flood-hit people

Devout Hindus from ‘Dharmashikshan’ classes held by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti helped flood-hit people of Bavachi village by distributing food and clothes at Raibag in Karnataka. Shri. Jayanand Hiremath of ‘Patanjali Yogapeetha’ and other devout Hindus joined including Shri. Vinod Kalage.

Kolhapur : Segregation of aid received in form of clothes and grains for flood-affected people

Local residents of Juna Budhwar Peth  and soldier group have been segregating clothes and grains received in form of aid at Shri Shahu Primary School No. 14 since last few days in which Shri. Amol Kulkarni and Sou. Janhavi Amol Kulkarni of HJS participated. Sanatan Sanstha’s well-wisher Shri. Vishwanath Pundit also spontaneously joined the work for 2 days.

Belgaum: Incessant rain at Belgaum has created flood-like situation. People stuck in colonies like Maratha colony and Tilakwadi were provided drinking water by activists of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti viz. Shri. Vijay Nandagadkar and Shri. Lakshman Belgaonkar.

Dr. Mansingh Shinde and HJS activists helping flood-affected citizens of Navin Ingali (Kolhapur) colony

Kolhapur : HJS provided aid to 80 flood-hit people of Navin Ingali colony on 10th August as food-packets were distributed to people at respective home by Dr. Mansingh Shinde of Sanatan Sanstha, Shri. Santosh Sangar, Shri. Kiran Duse, Shri. Sagar Hankare, Shri. Prathamesh Gawade of HJS; along with Shri. Rajaram Mane and Shri. Umesh. Medical examination of 200 people of Ingali village was organized and they were given medicines. The flood-affected people were also explained importance of ‘sadhana’, chanting etc while clarifying doubts asked by some of them.

Santosh Sangar of HJS rescues 14 people caught in flood water at Kolhapur

Shri. Santosh Sangar of HJS and Shri. Jyotiram Shelake his associate rescued 14 people caught in a building near District Collector’s office as the ground floor of that building had 5 ft of water. They thanked rescuers for rushing to their help like God.

Health check-up of flood-affected people by ‘Arogya Sahayyata Samiti’ at Sangli

 

Sangli : ‘Arogya Sahayyata Samiti’ promoted by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) conducted medical check-up of flood-affected people at Savarkar Pratishthan, Vishram Baug and at 100-ft road and gave them medicines. This medical check-up was conducted by Dr. Mrunalini Bhosale and Shri. Girish Pujari, Shri. Santosh Desai, Shri. Akshay Thorat of HJS and Sou. Kalpana Thorat of Sanatan participated in this drive.
