Strong unity of Hindus through ‘Ram-naam sankeertan’ drive undertaken at Mumbai and Navi Mumbai !

Participation of Sanatan Sanstha and HJS

Mumbai, : It was a good opportunity to strengthen unity amongst Hindus given to seekers with the grace of God through the drive of ‘Ram-naam Sankeertan’ for establishing Hindu Rashtra. This drive was undertaken at temples, residences of Sanatan Sanstha’s seekers, readers of ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ periodicals and devout Hindus at
Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. Chanting of ‘Shriram Jai Ram Jai Jai Ram’ was held collectively in an atmosphere of devotion. This drive has been started by seekers of Sanatan Sanstha and activists of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS).

Bhandup

‘Ram-naam’ chanting was held at the residence of Sanatan Sanstha’s seeker Sou. Deepali Upalekar on 26th July. It may be mentioned that despite heavy rains, many ‘jidnyasus’ came for chanting and felt peaceful while chanting.

On 28th July, chanting session was held at the residence of Sou. Prachi Bapardekar, a devout Hindu and reader of ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ when 18 persons were present. All participants were explained the importance of ‘Ram-naam’, Sanatan Prabhat-periodicals and importance of chanting etc. Devout women said that they felt quite spellbound
while chanting. Sou. Shubhada Rane said that though it didn’t rain on that day, with starting of chanting, it started raining and it continued to rain for half an hour till chanting ended. It was as if getting blessings from Varundev for raining. Similar chanting session was also held on the same day at the residence of Sou. Parab, a reader of Sanatan Prabhat’s periodicals which was attended by 17 persons. They said that they would come every Sunday for chanting.

Chanting session held at the residence of Shri. Sharad Kadam, a reader of ‘Dainik Sanatan Prabhat’ was attended by 11 persons. A lecture was also held on ‘Chaturmas’. Participating devout Hindu women said that they learnt such scientific information for the first time.

On 1st August, chanting was done at Shri Datta Mandir on Village Road which was attended by 17 persons including temple-trustee Shri. Kishore Vaity. The participants showed interest in holding similar session again and felt positive and lot of energy in the temple after chanting. On the same day, chanting was done at the residence of Sou. Panavelkar, a reader of ‘Dainik Sanatan Prabhat’. She felt that she could become introverted due to chanting.

Chanting session was held on 4th August at the residence of Shri. Khedekar, a reader of ‘Dainik Sanatan Prabhat’

Worli

On 29th July, chanting was held at the residence of Sou. Sawant, a devout Hindu from Prabhadevi in which 8 persons participated. It has been decided to chant collectively for one hour every day. On 4th August, 7 persons did chanting at the residence of Sou. Kalamkar and it has been decided by 4-5 persons to chant every day.

Parel

On 3rd August, chanting session was held at Shri Mahalakshmi Mandir in Shri Mahalakshmi Society wherein 16 persons participated. There was a devout Hindu lady who said that she would be able to sit for chanting only for 2 minutes due to her mentally handicapped son but he sat peacefully for 30 minutes and chanted in proper rhythm.

Mulund

On 31st July, chanting was done at Shri Vitthal-Rakhumai Mandir at Anand Nagar by 8 persons. The Participants said that they felt peaceful and had no worldly thoughts during chanting.

Navi Mumbai

Nerul

On 31st July, chanting was done at Zulelal Mandir at Sector 6. The temple-priest gave information on Sanatan Sanstha to 25 participants who joined the chanting. They paid attention and chanted also in proper rhythm. Permission was granted for holding such chanting session continuously for 8 days. On 1st August about 50 devotees
participated in chanting.

Kharghar

On 2nd August, few persons gathered at the residence of Sou. Sangita Jamadar for chanting and they decided to chant in this manner on every Thursday.

Airoli

On 1st August, 11 persons did chanting at the residence of Sou. Swati Salunkhe and they decided to have such chanting session daily for one hour. Participating devout Hindus saw idol of Shriram and yellow light while chanting. On 2nd August, chanting session was held on behalf of ‘Marwadi Bhajani Mahila Mandal’ at Shri Rameshwar Mahadev Mandir, Sector 3 in which 25 persons participated. They decided to have such chanting sessions till ‘Raksha-bandhan’.

Sanpada

On 2nd August, chanting was held at Datta Mandir by ‘Shri Mauli Dnyaneshwar Haripath and Bhajani Mandal’ and Shri. Dagadu Joma Vaskar said that chanting of ‘Ram-naam’ would be held once in every week along with ‘Hari-paatha’. 16 persons attended chanting session. On 4th August, chanting session was held on behalf of ‘Gajanan Mahila Bhajani Mandal’ at Shri Ganesh Mandir which was joined by 15 persons and they showed interest in having such session once in a week, even in future.

Koparkhairane

On 3rd August, 19 persons did chanting at Varad Vinayak Mandir when information was also given on ‘Nag-Panchami’ festival.
