Guidance programme on ‘love jihad’ held at Shyam Singh Memorial Girls Inter College in Noida
Noida, Uttar Pradesh – Hindu Janajagruti Samiti organised a lecture on the subject of ‘love jihad’ at Shyam Singh Memorial Girls Inter College in Sarfabad, Sector 73, Noida.
On this occasion, Supreme Court advocate Mani Munjal guided students of Classes 10 and 12, explaining the seriousness of ‘love jihad’ and its consequences. The students listened to the subject with great attention.
Students were also introduced to a book on ‘love jihad’ published by the Samiti. During the programme, the school principal Geeta Sharma requested that ‘Sanskar vargs’ be conducted regularly at the school.
Approximately 100 students benefited from the lecture. Notably, despite the school being closed for the day, students from Classes 10 and 12 attended the programme.
Highlights
The school principal requested a set of holy texts published by Sanatan Sanstha, along with 25 copies of the book on ‘love jihad’ published by HJS.
She stated that these books would be kept in the school library and made available to students for reading.
