Thane: Devout Hindus start ‘Dharmakarya’ after Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha

Thane (Maharashtra) : Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha was held on 10th April by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) at ‘Lakshmi-Keshav’ Hall in Kolbad. A review meeting was held thereafter to decide about future course of action in carrying on the activities of HJS. The curious (jidnyasu), who attended the review meeting, immediately joined the activities related to protection of Dharma. Some of them became subscribers of ‘Dainik Sanatan Prabhat (DSP)’. Mr. Satardekar, a devout Hindu who attended the review meeting, promptly took up the task related to ‘display boards (phalak-prasiddhi)’. When he learnt that the matter to be written on these boards is made available in DSP, he immediately subscribed to DSP. He took up the task of even getting the Board made. Those who attended the review meeting agreed to start ‘Dharmacharan’ by promptly starting to  follow the 3 things viz. to apply ‘tila’ on forehead before going out of the house, greet over phone by saying ‘namaskar’ instead of ‘Hello’ and greet with folded hands (namaskar) rather than shaking hands on meeting.

Mr. Prashant Surve of HJS explained the activities undertaken by HJS, various movements taken up by HJS in lawful manner, demonstrations and success achieved so far. Mr. Abhijit Bhojane first introduced HJS to the participants. The participants also agreed to attend ‘Dharmashikshan’ classes being conducted there. The meeting started with recitation of Sri Ganesha – shloka and was concluded with recitation of the shloka ‘Sarvetra sukhinah santu ….’
