Shiv-jayanti celebrated enthusiastically at Amalner

Amalner (Maharashtra): Jai Bajarang Mitramandal (JBM) from Pankhidki area celebrated ‘Shiv-jayanti’ by taking oath to follow ‘Dharmacharan’ and protect Dharma. The program was held opposite ‘Icchapurti Mandir’ and was addressed by Miss Pratiksha Korgaonkar and Mr. Shashank Deshmukh of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS). About 850 devout Hindus attended the program.

Mr. Shashank Deshmukh made an appeal in his address that Hindus should unite for establishment of ‘Hindvi Swaraj’ as Shivaji Maharaj had united Hindus for the purpose. Miss Pratiksha Korgaonkar talked about new Muslim conspiracy of ‘love jihad’ and Hindu women should get ready to fight against this danger. JBM wanted to plan the program in a very efficient manner like programs organized by HJS and JBM’s members Mr. Balasaheb Dusane, Gopi Kasar, Santosh Patil, Bhaiya Shete, Pankaj Dhobi, Bunty Chaudhary, Ravindra Bari, Sachin Pingale, Balu Dhobi, Jitendra Patil Sanjay Bari, Ramdas Chaudhary, Ketan Joshi, Mangal Bhavsar, Suraj Pardeshi, Pravin Shete, Bandu Dhobi etc. worked very hard. The program was also attended by other dignitaries viz. Mr. Chandusingh Pardeshi, former municipal councilor of Amalner Town Council, Mr. Madhukar Bhavsar, the President of JBM, Mr. Pravin Pathak, the city-chief of  Shiv Sena and senior members of JBM.

Resolutions passed at the end of the program –

1. I will give my introduction as a Hindu; rather than talking about my caste, sect or party etc.

2. Every day, I will allocate certain time for activities related to protection of Dharma                                                  

3. I will try to prevent damage caused to Dharma.

4. I will celebrate every national and religious festival as per the science.

5. I will tell at least one person, the importance of ‘Dharmacharan’ everyday.

Highlights

1. All showed their readiness in taking part in various ‘sevas’ related to Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha scheduled at Amalner on 1st May 2011.

2. Use of ‘DJ’ was purposely avoided.
