HJS participates in the protest organised by Shivsena in Chennai

On 11.2.2018, Sunday Shivsena organised for a protest meet at Chepauk, Chennai to place various demands before the Central and State Governements. Some of the demands were –

  1. State Government should revert back the price hike in bus charges so that poor people who have no other mode of transport will be benefitted.
  2. Government should take stringent action against those who were the reason behind the severe fire accident at Madurai Meenakshiamman temple, the fire accident to the temple car at Vellore Ponniamman temple, the aggression of Christian missionaries at Kalaiyar temple in Shivagangai.
  3. The temple administration should be handed over to the Hindus. Government should take remove the corrupt HR&CE department from Hindu temples.
  4. FIR had been registered against Poet Vairamuthu and Kanimozhi for the highly degrading comments on Deities. No action has been taken so far by the police. Immediate action should be taken against them.
  5. The culprit who sent the threatening letter to Sanatan Sanstha, Goa should be immediately found and punished under law. Due protection should be given to the seekers in the Goa ashram.

Shri. Radhakrishnan, President, Shivsena, Tamilnadu led the protest and demanded immediate action against Vairamuthu, Kanimozhi and others who denigrated Hindu Gods, Goddesses. He also gave byte to few local TV channels like Makkal TV, Captain TV, 4 web TVs and the news was published in newspapers like Dina idhazh. Many other Hindu organisations like Hindu Makkal Katchi, Hindu Makkal Munnani, Hanuman Sena, Bharath Hindu Munnani, Hindu Paraiyar Munnani, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti participated in the protest. Pujya (Sou.) Uma Ravichandran and Shri. Ravichandran participated on behalf of HJS. Pujya (Sou.) Uma Ravichandran spoke about the need for handing over the administration of temples to hindus. Around 50 hindutwawadis participated in the protest.
