Belgaum, Karnataka: Call for ‘Hindutva’ resonates in Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha

Belgaum (Karnataka): On Sunday, 28th November 2010, Hindu Janaagruti Samiti (HJS) held ‘Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha’ on the grounds of Gomatesh College at 5.30 p.m. in Hindwadi in the presence of 2000 devout Hindus resonating the sound of Hinduism. Pujya Sri Sri. Br. Shivasiddha Someshwar Shivacharya Mahaswami of Bhutaramhatti (Belgaum) Mukti Math, Pujya Tulshiram Maharaj Pokharkar, Mathadhipati of Gurukul Ashram at Erandol in Ajra Taluka (Dist. Kolhapur), Mr. Abhay Vartak, spokesperson of Sanatan Sanstha and Mr. Ramesh Shinde, the spokesperson of HJS for the States of Maharashtra and Gujarat addressed the ‘sabha’.

Pujya Sri Sri Br. Shivasiddha Someshwar Shivacharya Mahaswami lighted the lamps and released a booklet published by Sanatan Sanstha titled ‘Karveernivasini Sree Mahalakshmi’. Vedamurti Mr. Chaitanya Vasudev Chhatre Guruji and his colleagues recited ‘Veda-mantras’. Mr. Bhujang Chavan, a representative of ‘Dainik Sanatan Prabhat’ was felicitated on the occasion. Mr. Yallappa Patil presented a review of HJS activities and the ‘sabha’ was compeered by Mr. Rhushikesh Gurjar.

The incompetent Government need not scare Saints of death as Saints win over death. H. H. Dr. Jayant Athavale has done a great favour to the Government by nurturing a patriotic young generation. Nobody should dare to even touch Him. Selfish politicians have no value of the sacrifice made by Sanatan seekers.

Our Deities are denigrated; their indecent pictures are drawn under the name of freedom of expression. Swami Vivekananda had also trained his disciples to fight against disgraceful pictures of Srikrushna; but today Hindus, who lack ‘Dharmashikshan’, do not oppose things that are unrighteous, anti-Dharma; therefore, the anti-Hindus are getting encouragement to carry out their unrighteous acts. The rulers, who have not left a single field devoid of corruption, are in fact, encouraging anti-nationalism with their policy of appeasement of non-Hindus. Hindu youth should therefore, light a fire of nationalism and ‘Dharmabhiman’ to teach a lesson to such anti-national and anti-Dharma rulers. ‘26th November’ is not our day of victory but it is a day of our defeat. One needs to carry the flame of revolution rather than lighting candles in remembrance of this day.
