Municipal Corporation speeds up action against unauthorized religious places; demolished Ganesh Mandir

Now, the Government should take out loudspeakers from mosques just as action is taken against unauthorized temples !

Mumbai – Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation has undertaken drive for demolition of unauthorized religious places with lot of zest. List of 16 such unauthorized religious places has been prepared which includes 14 temples, 1 mosque and 1 madarasa. On 9th November, Mumbai Municipal Corporation demolished Ganesh temple at Naigaon, Dadar when large number of policemen was deployed. Municipal Corporation has issued notice for demolition of Durgamata Mandir at Kharghar and Shri Sai Mandir near petrol pump. The trustees of the temple removed Deities idols and other material from temples before such demolition. Notice was also issued for demolition of an unauthorized shed erected by mosque for reading ‘namaz’ but it was removed by Muslims before Municipal Corporation could take action.
