‘Dharmaprasar’ by HJS and Sanatan Sanstha during Navratri in Pune district

Pune : Sanatan Sanstha and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) undertook ‘Dharmaprasar’ during recent Navratri festival using the media like lectures, demos, display of banners etc which received good response from ‘jidnyasus’ of different places in the district.

Exhibition of Sanatan’s books and ‘sattvika’ products at Ramambika Temple in Kothrud

Demo on right method of ‘Oti Bharane’ was held in housing societies at Shivane and Green City; along with giving information on spiritual science of celebrating Navratri festival. Readers of ‘Dainik Sanatan Prabhat’ spontaneously participated in the program. Demos on need for self-defence training were held at 3 places during Navratri; besides, holding exhibition of boards with relevant matter on the subject. Exhibition of books and ‘sattvika’ products was held on all 9 days during Navratri at Ramambika Temple.

Representation submitted to Shiraval police for prevention of malpractices in Navratri celebrations 

Considering the current distorted nature of Navratri –celebrations, HJS submitted representation to Police Inspector (PI) Bhausaheb Patil of Shiraval police station and Dy PI Sunil Pawar for prevention of misconduct happening during Navratri festival. Shri. Sagar Jarande of ‘Shri Shivapratishthan Hindustan’; Shri. Sanket Pisal, Shri. Nikhil Patil, Shri. Rahul More, Shri. Sangram Koli, Shri. Tejas Yadav, Shri. Tushar Ghodake, Shri. Rajwardhan Patil, Shri. Pruthviraj Jadhav, Shri. Amol Patole, Shri. Pruthviraj Patil from ‘Dharmashikshan’ class and Prof. Shrikant Borate of HJS were present on the occasion.

Highlights

Shri. Sagar Jarande, a devout Hindu took initiative in inviting other devout Hindus to join for submitting representation.

A Cell was set up in ‘Ashtabhuja Devi’ temple. Shri. Lahoti of Amol Garment and Shri. Ganesh Tumma of ‘Nakshatra Sari Centre’ bought 150 booklets on ‘Rangoli, Devaghar and ‘Devatanchi Mandani’ and ‘Devi-pujan’. Readers of ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ also joined the seva. Shri. Ganesh Tumma arranged lecture on the occasion of his daughter’s birthday, in which importance of spiritual acts, ‘Ramraksha’, performing ‘aukshan’, Diwali and Dharmacharan was explained. ‘Ideal Navratri’ celebration drive was undertaken even at Hadapsar.

Active part of women from ‘Dharmashikshan’ class at Satara Road 

Posters and handbills were distributed and women attending ‘Dharmashikshan’ class at Ambegaon advertised about the lecture held here. 7 Navratri Festival Mandals at Sahakarnagar and Dhankavadi were visited and information on this festival was given. Representations were also submitted for prevention of wrongdoings during Navratri festival at 6 police stations; 2 at Dhankavadi and 4 at Sahakarnagar. Information on Navratri was spread to ‘jidnaysus’ through distribution centres set up at 5 main temples on Satara Road viz. Bharati Vidyapeetha, Padmavati and Ambamata Mandir, Aba Bagul Udyan and Suparna Hall.

‘Jidnyasus’ subscribe to weekly ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ at Simhgad Rasta 

Navratri information was disseminated through Exhibition Cell at 9 places through handbills and posters. Lectures were held at various places by contacting Navaratrotsav Mandals. Few persons subscribed to weekly Sanatan Prabhat when they got to know about it.

Demand for Training Class and ‘Dharmashikshan’ Class at Chinchwad

A lecture was held on ‘Navratri’ and ‘Shrisukta Havan’ at the residence of Sou. Kumbhar. Sou. Nagane gave the lecture. ‘Jidnyasus’ demanded self-defence training and ‘Dharmashikshan’ class after guidance held at Gandharvanagari.

Distribution centres were erected at 9 places in Chinchwad and 31 lectures were conducted. Self-defence training was held at 4 places and topic of ‘kumkumarchan’ and ‘Oti Bharane’ was presented in 8 societies. Cells to create awareness towards ideal way of Navratri celebration were set up at 5 places and demand to hold ‘Dharmashikshan’ classes was received from 2 places.
