Kolar (karnataka): A series of three different Love Jihad cases have shocked the citizens of the communally sensitive district of Kolar in Karnataka in just 48 hours.

Muslim Cycle Mechanic fled with a Hindu girl

In the first incident a student aged around 20, daughter of a local businessman in Kataripalya area of Kolar town, who was doing her engineering was missing along with her Muslim neighbor who was a cycle mechanic.

Tailor runs away with millionaire owner’s minor daughter

In the second incident one Irshad Pasha who resided near clock tower in  Durga Mohalla and worked as  a Tailor in a textile shop owned by a millionaire Hindu in Aralepete business area has managed to abscond along with the owner’s daughter (aged 17 years) who was doing her Pre-University about five days back.

Already married Muslim driver marries Hindu woman

In yet another incident in Malur, one Bashir – a driver transporting agricultural products, who was married and has two children has managed to befriend a Hindu farm labourer Miss Bharathi over a period of time and was forcing her to marry him. He also indicated that he would divorce his first wife. When this was known to the locals they had opposed the second marriage and had even complained to the police. But Bashir outsmarted the villagers and managed to marry Bharathi at the local Sub Registrars office.
