Incidents of damaging idols of Deities have been taking place in Goa, now it is happening in Maharashtra and may happen even all over the country in future; but are the powerful pro-Hindu organizations and political parties going to be just a witness to such incidents and remain indifferent as they are now? Hindus must realize that those who seek their votes in the name of Hindutva, do not feel like doing anything in such matters. So, take them to task whenever you meet them !

Madgaon (Goa):
An idol of Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi was found damaged in a temple at Girdoli, Chandore. The culprit has not touched the gold ornaments adorning the idol or even the donation box kept in the temple. Police therefore feel that, the only motive of the offenders must be to create communal tension among people. (We do not want just assumptions, but the police should know from history as to who can damage the idols of Hindu Deities and take action against the culprits! – Editor SP)

The temple has been under repairs for the past few days. It has been observed that somebody has entered the temple through the front door and broken the idol made of clay with the help of a stick used for erecting ‘Gudhi’. Police tried to investigate with the help of their trained dogs and fingerprint experts, but they are unable to get any clue so far.
