Media and Congress leaders display hostility toward statements by Sou. Lata Dhavalikar

Realise that the media, not taking any cognisance of the increasing assaults on cow-protectors, meaning, Hindus target those promoting the interests of Hindus !

Panaji (Goa) : Heretic media and Congress leaders displayed hostility toward statements made by Sou. Lata Dhavalikar of Sanatan Sanstha over protection of Hindu culture, in the Hindu Dharmajagrutisabha organised by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti at Madgaon.

Both these elements have targeted devout Hindus by finding an excuse of the speech made by Sou. Dhavalikar. Many media houses used the words ‘Sou. Dhavalikar was speaking in the meeting of controversial and rightist Sanatan Sanstha’ while giving publicity to the news about the statements made by Sou. Dhavalikar and thus, also displayed their hatred towards Sanatan Sanstha.

Many reactions supporting the statements made by Sou. Dhavalikar appeared on the website of Daily Sakal !

Panaji : The statement by Sou. Lata Dhavalikar, ‘Atrocities on the women increased due to blindly following the western culture’ attracted many reactions on the website of Daily Sakal. Many readers responded, ‘Sou. Dhavalikar said what the general public feels’. The news received 465 ‘likes’ and 139 ‘dislikes’.

‘Connecting incidents of rape with western culture is a sign of narrow-mindedness !’ – Durgadas Kamat of Congress

Congress party has opposed the statement of Sou. Dhavalikar, ‘Atrocities on the women increased due to blindly following the western culture’. Shri. Durgadas Kamat, Spokesman of the Congress party reacted, ‘This is an effort to divide nation and State on the basis of religion. Connecting incidents of rape with western culture and making appeal not to send the children in convent school is a sign of narrow-mindedness’. (Shri. Durgadas Kamat, rejecting the facts presented by Sou. Dhavalikar is himself a narrow-minded person. Sou. Dhavalikar made the statement out of expansive love for all women. Today, everybody sheds tears over the increasing incidents of rape but does not go to the root cause of the problem. Since Sou. Shri. Durgadas Kamat further said, “We are very sorry to observe such statements being made in Goa, where the population of Christians is more than 26%. BJP and Narendra Modi are unable to stop such statements from their leaders. Therefore, other leaders are inspired to make such statements. (Are facts not to be presented just because Christians stay here ? Why those, who are against the restrictions on the free speech and freedom of expressions most of the times are criticising now ? – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

The thoughts expressed by Sou. Lata Dhavalikar, which invited hostility from media

* To follow Dharma, the women should apply kumkum and the men tilak everyday while going out.

* Do not send your wards in convent schools, converting the future generation

* On meeting or while answering mobile phone say ‘Namskar’ instead of ‘Hello’

* Stop celebrating western ‘Days’ such as Friends’ Day, Jeans Day, Rose Day, etc.

* As per Hindu culture, New Year Day is celebrated on Gudipadawa. Therefore, resolve today itself not to celebrate New Year Day on 1st January.

Allegation on HJS holding a Dharmajagruti Sabha on ‘Easter Sunday’ !

Reckless politicians’s relating Hindu meeting to Easter – Hindu Janajagruti Samiti

Panaji : Intending to awaken pride for Dharma among Hindus and to make them abide Dharma and also for uniting them, a Dharmajagruti Sabha was organised by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) at Shri Gogaleshwar Temple Auditorium, Gogol Housing Board, Madgao on 5th April. Independent MLA Vijay Sardessai from Fatorda has alleged while speaking to the media that by organising a sabha on the ‘Easter Sunday’ HJS has shown insensitivity towards chirtians and broad minded people of Goa. While refuting these allegations, HJS has said that there was absolutely no connection between the ‘Easter Sunday’ and the Dharmajagruti Sabha. The sabha was meant for Hinuds only. To connect this sabha to Easter means recklessness of the politicians, expressed the State Convener, Dr. Manoj Solanki in a Press release.

Press release further says that HJS never had any intention of having the Dharma sabha on Easter Sunday. In fact none of the Christians have objected to holding Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha. Independent candidate, MLA Vijay Sardessai is playing a dirty politics by alleging in this way to get cheap publicity. When the sabha was organised for Hindus only, then where is the question of paying attention the minorities festival?  Nowadays it has become a fashion in Goa to spread rumour of causing injustice to the minorities by politicising any issue. This a very mean attempt on the part of MLA Vijay Sardessai to have spread such a rumour to benefit politically. While refuting the allegation that HJS is associated with BJP, Dr. Solanki said, HJS and BJP are two different organisations. For the last so many years HJS has been organising such sabhas in various parts of Bharat; yet to connect it with the BJP is not only ridiculous but it is quite pathetic to see such a narrow mindedness of Sardessai. To politicise every issue is the intention of narrow minded leaders. Since HJS is a Hindu Oraganisation and it is doing a very good work which is appreciated by the public and its work is expanding very well. However opponents may criticise, the mission of Hindutva will not stop, said Dr. Manoj Solanki.

Why the Congress is objecting to imparting Education of Dharma to Hindus by Hindus ? – Hindu Janagagruti Samiti

In the abovementioned Sabha held on 5th April by HJS at Madgao, while addressing the gathering a speaker, Mrs. Lata Dhavlikar, appealed to the devout Hindus saying, ‘Hindus should follow Dharma ritually by abiding Dharma and they should not follow western culture and should not send their wards to ‘Convent’ schools. Durgadas Kamat of Congress has criticised Mrs. Dhavlikar concerning this statement of hers. Kamat has said that, this is an attempt to create a rift in the country and this is symbol of a diseased mentality. While refuting this criticism HJS State Convener Dr. Manoj Solanki said, the point stated by Mrs. Lata Dhavlikar was related to how to abide Dharma. If any Maulavi states, ‘Give education to a Muslim boy in Madarssa’ or ‘Muslins should have their Namaz for 5 times a day’, then nobody considers that to be controversial. Then how, statements like, ‘Hindu men should put tilak on the forehead, women should also put kumkum.
