Bangaluru (Karnataka): Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha was held here successfully on 1st May 2011. Around 550 devout Hindus attended the Sabha, despite change of the place of Sabha from NTI Grounds, Vidyaranyapura to nearby Dwarka Convention Hall due to rain.

States like Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat have brought the Law against conversion. There is rampant conversion in Karnataka and the State Government has to bring in Anti-Conversion Law. Saints and religious leaders have already requested Chief Minister Mr. B.S.Yeddyurappa for this and the Government has done very little progress to introduce this Law. We would be meeting the Chief Minister in this connection shortly along with a delegation. Mr. Murthy concluded by saying that we are ready to launch an agitation for this purpose if there is any further delay.

Building a country based on the principles of Righteousness is the only solution for the Nation’s ills ! – Mr. Mohan Gowda, HJS

Today the entire system has collapsed and there has been an increase in corruption, Naxalism, Inflation, conversion and attacks on Hindus. If under the disguise of secularism, the Government is giving away Rs. 3,500 Crores for the Haj Pilgrimage while the same Government is charging Rs 7000 as tax from each devotee to Amarnath.

The Karnataka Government has given away Rs 50 Crores to the Christians and Rs 326 Crores to the Muslim communities which were collected in Hindu temples as donations and offerings. But the same Government has demolished more than 350 Hindu Temples. Further the Central Government has released Rs 54 Crores to Aligarh Muslim University for development of Arabic and Urdu languages.

Through these actions Hindus are being shown as second grade citizens. 152 countries consider ‘Christianity’ as their official religion and 52 countries follow ‘Islam’ as their religion while there is not any country where ‘Hinduism’ is official religion. So the Samiti is trying to build a strong Hindu Rashtra through such Dharma Sabhas and other means so that Hindus can live with pride in this country.

Every Hindu should gain ‘Dharma Shiksha’ and also practice it ! – Miss. Sphoorthi Benakanavari, Sanatan Sanstha

Many Hindus in society regularly observe different rituals, poojas, festivals etc. But they are not aware as to why they are doing all these things and how to do it as per science in Hindu Dharma. Some feel that it’s all nonsense, while others do it mechanically. So they do not get the Spiritual experiences they are supposed to get from the ritual. To change this situation and to educate Hindus and give them education on Dharma Shikshan Sanatan Sanstha is giving guidance through Balsanskar Varg, Weekly Workshops, Moral Value Classes, Dharma Satsang etc.

Propagation of Dharma is not Business ! – Sri Laksmish Gabladka, Vice President , Devasthaan Matthu Dharmika Sansthegala Mahasangha, Karnataka

Today’s so called spiritual leaders are dictating and propagating the rules of Righteousness as per their own wishes and this is an unpardonable insult to the scriptures. While Islam and Christian religions are against the nature, Hinduism blends along with it. Where there is unnatural life there is no life to that society. That is why when we live as per the tenets of Sanatan Dharma our personal and social lives will be happy. Temples are centers of Spirituality and not tourist spots or Governments offices. We strongly oppose the proposed Bill to take over temples.

At the end of the meeting Mr. Mohan Gowda read out the resolution to be sent to the Government and the audience chanted Har Har Mahadev conforming their consent to it. The Sabha ended with the singing of Vande Mataram.

1. The Sabha which was held in the ground had commenced, but within 20 minutes it started raining. It was requested that the Audience to assemble along with their chairs at the nearby indoor hall where alternate arrangements had been made. Surprisingly within no time all the Devout Hindus took their seat in the indoor Hall and the count of the people which was around 250 in the playground rose to 550 when they reached the hall and the hall was packed till the end of the Sabha.
2. During the  interactive session after the Sabha, there were more than 70 Devout Hindus who pledged that they will give at least one hour every week for the cause of Hindutva.
