Kalyan : Shahrukh Khan’s film ‘Raees’ releasing in next week seems to be in trouble since there is opposition to the film. Opposition for the film is due to Pakistani actress Mahira Khan acting in this film, said Shri. Mahesh Gaikwad, who is a municipal councilor, and represents ward no. 88.
A representation has been given by Shri. Mahesh Gaikwad, a staunch ‘Hindutvavadi’, to police and theatre management on 18th January demanding to withhold release of the above film. He has also warned to stage agitations if the film was released despite opposition. Inox theatre management at Metro Mall, Kalyan (W) informed that the film would not be screened in that theatre.
