
Kolhapur, Maharashtra – During the ‘Mayor Janata Darbar’ held in August, an individual raised an objection when the Mayor of the Kolhapur Municipal Corporation, Ruparani Nikam commenced her address with the chant of ‘Jai Shri Ram’. Ruparani Nikam delivered a firm and assertive rebuttal to this person. Congratulating her for this, the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti and other pro-Hindu organisations presented a grand portrait of Prabhu Shri Ram to be installed in the Mayor’s newly renovated office. The Mayor’s husband, Shri. Sangramsinh Nikam, was also present on this occasion.
Also present were Shivanand Swami and Mahendra Ahire of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, founder of ‘Maharaja Pratishthan’ Niranjan Shinde, working president of ‘Maratha Tituka Melvava’ Yogesh Kerkar, Hindu Mahasabha District President Vikas Jadhav, Sheela Mane from the women’s wing, and Dr Ashwini Malkar from ‘Hindu Jagran’.
On this occasion, everyone raised spirited slogans of ‘Jai Shri Ram’.
