Omkareshwar : ‘Pujya’ Dr. Charudatta Pingale, national Guide of HJS called on Swami Pranavanandaji Maharaj, the Chief of Markandeya Ashram on 4th January at the ashram located on the banks of River Narmada. ‘Pujya’ Dr. Pingale explained Swamiji in detail about various activities undertaken by HJS; seeking his blessings for the same. He also told Swamiji about the invaluable books published by Sanatan Sanstha.
Swami Pranavanandaji Maharaj said, “We also tell people about abiding by Dharma; but there is so much influence of western culture over people that in such atmosphere, people stop abiding by Dharma. Therefore, just telling them is not enough but there should always be contact with people and it will be possible through your books and satsangs.”

‘Pujya’ Dr. Pingale also met Swami Dnyanaprasoonendra Saraswati aka Mattur Swamiji in Markandeya Ashram; seeking his blessings. Swamiji is a great scholar of ‘Dharmashastra’ and is always travelling from one place to another, with total detachment. He spends maximum of his time in ‘Dnyan-sadhana’ and worship. ‘Pujya’ Mattur Swamiji said, “It is God’s plan. He gets everything done from us. You are going to people and creating awareness in them, which is good. The more we abide by Dharma, more will be its effect on society.”
