HJS volunteer gives lecture in a program at Ratlam

‘Sola Sanskars’ reflects on many subtle things which cannot be explained with science and intellect ! – Anand Jakhotia, HJS

Ratlam (Madhya Pradesh) : ‘Sola Sanskars’ are not just ‘sanskar’ at mental level but these are ‘Dharma-sanskars’ as advised by our Sages and Seers for the overall progress of body, mind, intellect and soul. Everyone should try to follow these ‘Sola Sanskars’ as much as possible considering the supremacy of Hindu Dharma. Our Sages have explained such subtle things through ‘Sola Sanskars’ which cannot be known through science, with intellect; so, we should be grateful to them, stated Shri. Anand Jakhotia of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) during a program organized by ‘Sanatan Dharmasabha’ and ‘Maharudra Yadnya Samiti (MYS’ on the banks of Triveni on 26th December. Shri. Pushpendra Joshi, the convener of the program, also did compeering of the program.

Shri. Jakhotia said, “When we understand the resolve in every ‘sanskar’ made under ‘Sola Sanskars’ and the meaning of ‘mantras’ recited at that time, will we realize the importance of these ‘Sanskars’. Hindu Dharma thinks about human being’s progress even before he is born and tells us about the right ‘Sanskar’ needed to be performed even after death. If we do not abide by them, it will be like self-destruction. We are following western culture; but people from other countries are getting drawn towards Hindu Dharma. We should therefore, have love and respect towards such supreme Dharma and try to abide by the same; else people from other countries would come here and tell us the importance of our Dharma.”

New Year starting at midnight is for demons ! – Yogesh Vhanmare

Shri. Yogesh Vhanmare, the State Coordinator of HJS for Madhya Pradesh said, “Midnight is considered to be the time when demons are dominant; whereas dawn is considered to be auspicious time conducive for sadhana; therefore, celebrate New Year on Gudhi Padava instead of the night of 31st December. New Year celebrated on Gudhi Padava is based on ‘Dharmashastra’, science, history and changes taking place in nature. No such connection exists in time measurement by others. We feel proud of our child studying in a convent school but we don’t know that convent is the place where illegitimate children are taught. We are thus proud of so many non-Indian things; but if we try to know the meaning behind our customs and traditions, we will know supremacy of Hindu culture.”

Highlights

1. MYS has been organizing such program since past 63 years.

2. Shri. Pushpendra Joshi had visited the exhibition put up by Sanatan Sanstha and HJS during ‘Simhastha’ at Ujjain and he invited representatives of HJS and Sanatan so that people from Ratlam also could get information obtained through that exhibition.

Paratpar Guru Dr. Athavale has been trying to decipher ‘Dharmashastra’, which is not told anywhere, but through Sanatan’s books ! – Shri. Kankani

Shri. Kankani, a chartered accountant said in his presidential speech in the end of the program, “It is wrong to celebrate 31st December. We are trying to stop this custom since last 1-2 years. Today, we got lot of information on ‘Sola Sanskars’. Sanatan Sanstha’s Founder, ‘Paratpar Guru’ Dr. Athavale has written short books on many subjects and I have all those books. The knowledge given in those books is not available anywhere and all should take benefit of such books.”
