Cow should be treated as ‘Rashtra-Mata’ the aim of ‘Gou-pratishtha Yatra’ undertaken by Saint Gopal Mani Maharaj 

Ujjain : The Union Government should assign the status of ‘Rashtra-Mata’ to cow and Ministry for cows should be created in the country, are the demands made by Saint Gopal Mani Maharaj of Uttarakhand for undertaking ‘Gou-pratishtha Yatra’ from 9th May going all over the country. This ‘Yatra’ reached Ujjain on 16th December and while guiding people at Chimanganj Mandi grounds, he made the above appeal to people. Shri. Yogesh Vhanmare of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) sought blessings of Maharaj for the mission of protection of nation and Dharma. The ‘Yatra’ has so far visited 7 States and is now going round in Madhya Pradesh.

After spreading the subject in 676 districts all over the country, it will conclude at Delhi on 18th February 2018 when ‘Gou-Kumbh’ has been organized with support of 1 crore citizens of this country. A representation of demands will be submitted to the Union Government related to protection of cows.
