Ishwarpur (Dist. Sangli) and Karad (Dist. Satara) : A rally has been organized of MP Asaduddin Owaisi, the founder of ‘All-India Majalis-e-Etahadul Mussalmeen (MIM)’ on 20th November at Ishwarpur in connection with elections local municipality as also at Karad. Owaisi always makes anti-Hindu statements in his speeches which can create communal disharmony. His speech can create even law and order problem; therefore, permission should not be granted for his rally, was the demand made through representation submitted on behalf of all pro-Hindu organizations at Ishwarpur police station. Shri. Gajanan Patil of Shri Shivapratishthan, devout Hindus viz. Shri. Swapnil Mali, Shri. Prashant Patil, Shri. Pruthviraj Patil and Shri. Indrajeet Patil along with volunteers of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) and Sanatan Sanstha were present on the occasion.

Similar representation demanding cancellation of Owaisi’s rally and imposition of ban on him for entering Satara District was submitted to Karad city- SP Pramod Jadhav and Dy. Regional Police Officer Rajalakshmi Shivankar by Shri. Chandrakant Kumbhar of ‘Yoga Vedanta Seva Samiti’, Shri. Omkar Mane and Shri. Vijay Chavan of ‘Shri Shivapratishthan Hindustan’; Sanatan Sanstha’s seeker Shri. Ankush Lohar and volunteers of HJS.
