Hindu Janajagruti Samiti organises youth awareness session at St. Arnold’s College, Mumbai

Mumbai – A special awareness programme was organised by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) at St. Arnold’s Night Degree College of Commerce and Arts in Andheri East. On this occasion, Raj Jadhav of the Samiti addressed the attendees on the topic ‘Increasing Attacks on Young Men and Women and Their Causes’.

Speaking on the occasion, Raj Jadhav said, “Instead of placing the responsibility of maintaining law and order solely on the police administration, every citizen must become cultured and responsible. Among today’s younger generation, insensitivity, unrestricted use and misuse of social media and smartphones, as well as the obsession with quick money and fame are on the rise. In pursuit of these, a large number of youth are going astray. Due to a disturbed mindset, negative tendencies are increasing among the youth. Instilling moral values (sanskars) in children and keeping them away from negative tendencies has become a major challenge for parents. It is essential to enhance the physical and mental capacities of young people. To this end, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti provides free self-defence training for the youth. Maximum youth should participate in this.”

The enthusiasm of the youngsters was evident during the self-defence demonstrations presented on this occasion. After the programme concluded, four girls came forward with a highly positive feedback about the guidance, and sought further information about the initiative.
