Pune : Navratri festival should be celebrated in an ideal manner; malpractices followed during celebration should be curbed; necessary care should be taken from the security point of view during Navratri program so that people can celebrate this festival in peaceful and religious atmosphere, were the demands made through representations submitted on behalf of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) to Police Inspectors from various police stations in Pune city. Police responded in positive manner at most of the places and commended HJS work. Representations were submitted in Pune city at police stations like faraskhana, Vishram Baug, Khadakmal, Sahakarnagar, Dattawadi, Swargate, Bibwewadi, Market-yard, Bharati University so also at Bhosari, Pimpri, Nigadi, Hinjwadi, Wakad and Chinchwad in Pimpri-Chinchwad area. Representation was submitted by HJS even to special Crime Branch at Pune Police Commissioner’s office.

Similar types of questions were asked to HJS volunteers, who are working in lawful manner, during inquiry !

A clerk from one police station talked to seekers gone there for submission of representation and made inquiry in an unofficial manner by asking questions like “Do you have list of your volunteers?, how many people are there in the organization ?, (taking name of one seeker) where does he live” etc. and all questions were answered by the volunteers. (Instead of keeping an eye on organizations which are working for protection of nation and Dharma, in lawful manner; police should use their strength in searching for jihadi terrorists, separatists, anti-nationals and their supporters so that this country will soon be free of terrorism ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

Police are capable of preventing malpractices ! – Says a police officer

Pimpri : HJS volunteers had gone to a police station in Chinchwad area for submitting representation when the police inspector of that police station said, “You need not tell us anything. Police are capable of preventing malpractices.” (If police were capable, there was no need for HJS volunteers to give such representations. Police do not want help offered through representations. Will such police be able to maintain law and order ? – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat) At another police station, a policeman busy in going through his cell phone, accepted the representation; but didn’t bother to even read it and passed a comment for HJS volunteers that they seemed to be under influence of Sanatan. (Is it wrong to have influence of Sanatan ? – Editor, Sanatan Prabhat)
At another police station, police officer advised HJS volunteers to lodge a complaint instead of giving representation and then police will take action.
