6 MPs issue letter to the Central Government against ban on Sanatan

Spiritual Organisation like Sanatan is the true strength of the Nation, say MPs !

New Delhi: “India is the spiritual Guru of the world. Spiritual and religious Organisations like Sanatan Sanstha are the true strength of India. The guidance given by such organisations is for the benefit of the mankind. Therefore, imposition of ban on Sanatan Sanstha, which is one of the apex spiritual organisation, is injustice. You are requested to personally look into the matter and see that ban is not imposed on Sanatan Sanstha.” The above demand has been made by 6 MPs of Shiv Sena and BJP by writing letters, on their letterheads, to Dr. Manmohan Singh, the Prime Minsiter and Mr. P. Chidambaram, the Home Minister. The Central Home Minister has promised Mr. Anant Gite, a Shiv Sena MP that he would look into the matter.

Shiv Sena group leader MP among those writing letters from Maharashtra !

Shri. Anant Gite, Shri. Manohar Joshi, former Speaker and MP, Shri. Prakash Javadekar, national spokesperson of BJP, Shiv Sena MPs S/Shri. Gajanan Babar and Anand Paranjape and Shri Sanjay Dhotre, BJP MP is among those who have written letters. The delegation of Sanatan Sanstha was informed that few more MPs from Shiv Sena and BJP were going to write letter against the ban on Sanatan. The delegation of Sanatan included Shri. Abhay Vartak, the spokesperson of Sanatan and other seekers.

It has been mentioned in the letters issued by the MPs that Sanatan Sanstha gives guidance on spirituality and Righteousness. It works through the medium of ‘bal-sanskar classes, satsangs, discourses, spiritual and religious books etc. therefore, it is wrong and will be injustice to bring a ban on the Sanstha.

Central Home Minister Chidambaram promises to look into the demand made by MPs!

Home Minster Chidambaram has replied to the letter written by Shri. Anant Gite, a group leader in the Parliament of Shiv Sena and its MP wherein he has stated that he has received a letter regarding Sanatan Sanstha from Shri. Gite and he would personally look into the matter.

32 MLAs from Maharashtra write to the Central Government opposing likely ban on Sanatan

Support from more than 32 MLAs for Sanatan is a verdict of Sanatan’s innocence !

Nagpur (Maharashtra): Sanatan Sanstha has been engaged in spread of spirituality and imparting ‘Dharma-shikshan’ to masses for many years which has helped to bring a change in the way of thinking of thousands of people and they have been motivated to take up ‘Dharmacharan’ and work for the welfare of the Nation and citizens. Even then, few politicians and atheists have connived to put the blame on this organisation for something in which the Sanstha was not even remotely connected and are trying to bring a ban on this organisation. We, therefore, oppose this ban. 32 MLAs from Shiv Sena, BJP and PWP elected from Maharashtra have sent letters, on their letterheads, to the Indian Prime Minister. Copies of the said letter have also been sent to the Home Secretary, Governors of Maharashtra and Goa States, the Chief Ministers and State Home secretaries.

MLAs confidence in Sanatan that it would not ever work against the Nation !

It has been mentioned in the letters issued by these MLAs that they have seen the activities of Sanatan Sanstha from close quarters. Sanatan will not ever do anything that would be anti-national or detrimental to the people. It is an organisation that undertakes social and spiritual activities. The guidance of the organisation has helped thousands of people to bring change in them and follow righteous path. These people are now contributing substantially for the welfare of the people and the Nation. Sanatan Sanstha has never supported any violent incident and not a single allegation involving the ‘Sanstha’ has so far been proved; in fact, many accusations made against Sanatan have been proved to be false and baseless. We strongly oppose imposition of ban on this organisation which is working for the betterment of the people and the Nation.

MLAs make a demand with the Central Govt. to withdraw unjust action taken against Sanatan by the State Govt. of Goa !

The manner in which the Sanatan’s ashram was raided in connection with bomb blast in Mudgaon is very saddening. The Santha has undertaken various drives all over the country that are related to social and spiritual upliftment. It has spread the importance of ‘Naam sadhana (chanting)’ and helped people to get rid of their addictions. Many private companies, Government offices, armed forces and Police department have sought guidance from the Sanstha on leading stress-free life. The repressive treatment given to such organisation by the Goa Government is unjust and the Central Government needs to intervene in this matter. If such unjust throttling of Sanatan is not stopped in time, it will cause irreparable loss to the Nation. It has also been mentioned in the concluding part of the letter that the Central Government should try to know the activities of the Sanstha and force the Goa Government to withdraw unjust action taken against this organisation.

Delegation of MLAs will shortly meet Governors !

A delegation of MLAs from the State will soon meet the Governor S. C. Jamir and make a demand to stop the injustice being meted put to Sanatan Sanstha.

Many more MLAs support Sanatan Sanstha !

Many MLAs from various parties have extended support to Sanatan Sanstha and are against the likely ban on the Sanstha. They informed a delegation of Sanatan Sanstha that they would also write letters in this regard.

Sanatan Sanstha expresses thanks to the MLAs from Shiv Sena, BJP and PWP for extending their solid support to the Sanstha during such difficult times !
