The decision so suddenly taken by temple trustees is quite surprising. It was necessary to take into consideration, opinions of Shankaracharya, Saints, Dharmacharyas etc. before taking such decision. Trustees should pay close attention to see that customs and traditions are followed for abiding by Dharma but taking such contrary decisions is like going against Hindu Dharma and devout Hindus should oppose the same ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat

Shani Shingnapur : Trustees of Shri Shanaishwar Devasthan declared their decision to allow everyone on the temple sanctum of Shri Shanidev. With this decision, now men and women will be able to go to temple sanctum for ‘darshan’. Such decision has been taken unanimously by Devasthan’s President Anita Shete and all other trustees.

On the occasion of ‘Gudhi Padwa’, local residents climbed the temple sanctum and did ‘Ganga-Jalabhishek’ over Shanidev’s idol and after that, the trustees declared their decision. ‘Bhoomata Brigade’s Trupti Desai has welcomed this decision. She said that such decision would create equality between men and women. (God has not created equality between men and women at any level; so such statement of Trupti Desai is in a way, misleading people; exhibiting her ignorance ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat) On 8th April, she will be going to Shani Shingnapur for ‘darshan’ in temple sanctum, in the afternoon.
