Mumbai: Intense reactions to the bomb blast in Goa are springing from all over Bharat. Despite the Sanstha’s spokesperson  declaring that their organisation is in no way connected to the bomb blast the government is talking of banning it thus destroying the warm atmosphere in the country. When it is expected to display sternness the government runs away from the situation and when unnecessary becomes excessively aggressive, is what the daily Tarun Bharat, Mumbai edition said.

No organisation can be destroyed with a ban !

One thing is certain, no national problem can be resolved by banning an organisation. If one organisation is banned its volunteers stop functioning under that banner but start another organisation to accomplish their objectives. This is the experience we have had with respect to ‘SIMI’. Though banned legally its activists have not stopped their activities in some form or the other. So it is very clear that banning an organisation will not stop its activities.

The hurry of the government to declare Hindus as terrorists is indeed pitiable !

The attempt of the government to trap the Sanatan Sanstha in a web is crystal clear. The government wants to show the whole world that terrorism has no religion, that people belonging to only one particular religion do not harbour a mentality for psychopathic behaviour, that there are Hindu terrorists akin to Muslim ones. The basic concept of this government is wrong because the atmosphere of brotherhood and love in this country can be attributed solely to Hindus.

The basic nature of a Hindu is extreme tolerance, not aggression at all and certainly not to harm others. The Hindu tries his level best to endure another. This conduct of Hindus is an obstacle somewhere in the thinking pattern of the government. That is precisely why the government is in a big hurry to declare Hindus as terrorists. This is indeed pitiable. The attempt was made earlier in the Malegaon blasts to label some Hindu organisations as terrorist. Without seeing what consequences it would have on the mental make-up of army officials it started the task of labelling them as terrorists but have been unsuccessful till date. But by depicting that there are Hindu terrorists as well the Congress has been successful in fulfilling its objectives.

Hindus should now develop the mentality to retaliate in the same way as the administration, unreasonably linking one to another

It is possible that the contemplation of banning the Sanatan Sanstha is mere vengeance of this political  party towards the Sanstha. If Hindus or their organisations are really proved guilty  then none will object to severe punishment meted out to the culprits but if someone is simply trying to link one to the other unreasonably then Hindus need to retaliate in the same way, we cannot ignore it.
