First Meeting for Organising Dharmasabha held in Indur (Nizamabad)

Indur (Andhra Pradesh): The first meeting of ‘Dharmabhimanis’ (i.e. Hindus who take pride in being Hindus) to organise and conduct a Dharmasabha in Indur (Nizamabad) by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti received a tremendous response. This meeting was held from 2 to 4 pm at Bada Raam Mandir in the Gazulpet area of Indur city. Though the city is bustling with Ganeshotsava celebrations, 55 proud Hindus attended the meeting. The meeting took place under the auspicious presence of Pujya Dinkar Swami Maharaj.

Mr. Pranav Manerikar of HJS welcomed and gave a brief introduction of the Samiti and its activities. Mr. Chetan Janardan, Andhra Spokesperson of HJS told the Dharmabhimanis about the present state of Hindus, the need for a Hindu Nation and the importance of organizing a Dharmasabha. A 10 minute special video on Dharmasabhas was shown which captured everyone’s attention. Shri. Nilkant Naik, Bhagyanagar Spokesperson of HJS was also present on this occasion.

Some of the prominent people who participated were:

  • Mr. Ramprasad Dhaliya – President of Rajasthan samaj and Marwadi samaj,
  • Mr. Kishore Tiwari – Erstwhile Shivsena leader and businessman
  • Advocate Rajan Subedar, 
  • Mr. Jugalkumar Pandey – P.R.O. of BJP,
  • Mr. Roshan of ABVP, 
  • Mr. Srinivas Sharma of BJP Yuva Morcha, 
  • Mr. Patel prasad of Bajarang Dal, Mr. Shrikant of Dharmachakra Youth organisation,
  • Mr. Pranav Kulkarni and Prajwal Kulkarni of Samartha Ramdas Yuva Maha Sanghatan.

Besides these, members of ABVP, BJP, Bajrang Dal, VHP, SRYMS and Brahman seva Sangha participated in this meeting.

Resolutions passed :
1.    It was unanimously decided that the Dharmasabha will be held on Sunday, 4th October 2009.
2.    The Dharmasabha will be held in a closed auditorium.
3.    Prominent Speakers on Hindutva will be invited for the Dharmasabha.
4.    All the organisations decided to reach all the 3.5 lakh Hindus in Indore through means of personal contacts and widespread publicity with the help of volunteers.

Special Features :
1.    Mr. Prakashji of Brahman Seva Sangha printed the invitation leaflets of the meeting at his press for free.
2.    Mr. Arvind of M.G.Kalyan Mantap arranged for chairs, tables and the tent for the meeting.
3.    Youth activists of Samartha Ramdas Yuva Maha Sanghatan helped in the arrangements of the meeting.
4.    Advocate Gangadhar Goud said that he would take responsibility of prachar in Maddnur and Bodhan mandals.
5.   ABVP activists and Samartha Ramdas Yuva Maha Sanghatan activists pledged to go door to door campaigning for the Dharmasabha.
6.    Flex posters on Dharmashikshan and ‘The plight of Hindus in Kashmir’ were displayed during the meeting.
