‘Ahimsa Times’ publishes an explanation along with an apology for maligning Sanatan Sanstha!

Mumbai: In its issue for the month of July 2009 and on its website, ‘Ahimsa Times’ has published information about the activities of Sanatan Sanstha along with its apology rendered to the Sanstha. In December 2008 issue of ‘Ahimsa Times’ published from Delhi and even on its website, it was mentioned that “Sanatan Sanstha was involved in bomb blasts. There is dominance of Brahmins in the Sanstha and the Sanstha is against Jains and Buddhists”.

In this context, a member of the Sanstha and the district-coordinator of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS), Mr. Shivaji Vatkar contacted Mr. A. K. Jain, the editor of ‘Ahimsa Times’ and wrote a protest letter along with the details about Sanatan Sanstha. Mr. Jain assured him that he would publish the information about the Sanstha on the first page of the following issue of the periodical along with an apology letter from the periodical.

On its website as well, information about Sanatan Sanstha has been published after the apology letter. The details of the Sanstha like its spiritual and social activities, remedies for spiritual distress, creating awareness among citizens towards the Nation and Dharma through the periodicals published by the Sanstha and Hindu unity, propagation of spirituality and Dharma-shastra through the website etc. have been explained.
