Sanatan’s Seeker invited to Milton School in Adoni for anniversary programme

Adoni(Andhrapradesh): Sanatan Sanstha has been conducting various activities since the past few years in Kurnool District, Andhra Pradesh. shri. Sagadi shrinivas Rao, Principal, of an important and well known school ‘The Milton Hitech Residential School’, was greatly impressed with the activities of Sanatan, and has painted the logo of Sanatan signifying the importance of the Guru- Shishya tradition, on the school wall. He keenly wishes that his school students should receive education about Bharatiya Sanskruti and moral values.

To celebrate the occasion of the 5th anniversary of the school a prize distribution ceremony for meritorious students was organized on 26.6.2009 at 5 pm. shri. Rajan Shinde, Sanatan Sanstha Prasar Sevak for South India, was on a tour to Adoni during this period. On learning this, shri. Sagadi shrinivas Rao immediately expressed that he would be extremely happy if Sanatan sadhak graces their program as a Chief Guest. shri. Rajan Shinde participated in the school’s program. All the school students and teachers listened to the lecture given by shri. Rajan Shinde very patiently and enthusiastically.

In his lecture, shri. Rajan Shinde stated that it is extremely important to keep the ideal of Chhatrapati Shivaj Maharaj before ourselves. When he was 10 years old, Shivaji Maharaj had decided that he would do something for our nation. When he was 17 years old, he started winning Forts one after the other. He defeated Fateh Khan who had come with an army of 10,000 soldiers. He also defeated the powerful Afzal Khan who had come with an army of 65,000 and Shayiste Khan who had come with an army of 1,35,000. At a young age, Shivaji Maharaj demonstrated a combination of Shakti (Energy), Bhakti (Devotion) and Yukti (Intelligence). With the blessings of saints, Shivaji achieved all this and he was successful. Addressing the students, shri Rajan Shinde emphasized the need to increase our spiritual strength as well in a similar manner.
Then, he distributed the prizes to the meritorious students.

Highlights

• After shri Rajan Shinde’s lecture, the Vice Principal of the school remarked that in the two hour program, only the lecture of shri Rajan Shinde proved to be an inspiration for everyone. He also mentioned that an important ideal has been placed before their students.

• On the occasion of the school’s 5th Anniversary, shri. Rao requested Sanatan’s Prasar sevak shri. Shinde to cut the cake at the end of the program. In response to this, shri. Shinde explained that cutting cake is not according to Bharatiya sanskruti. Finally the Anniversary was celebrated by performing Arati.
