Furious Hindus agitate; block roads for 2 hours

Quepem (Goa): Some idolaters’ desecrated idols from the temples of Sree Mahadev and Sree Sateri situated in Gudi Paroda village of Quepem taluka on the night of October 17.

Although the police claim to have nabbed the culprits who desecrated the dome of the temple of Sree Rakhandev Aajoba at Uskinibandh, Cuncolim, this incident has once again highlighted failure of the police machinery in curbing the deplorable series of idol desecration incidents. After this incident took place, angry locals blocked the Quepem-Gudi-Margao road for two hours.
