Impose immediate ban on Sunny Leone’s website : Adv. Ranajit Singh Ghatge

Advocate Ranajit Singh Ghatge speaking during agitation staged at Kolhapur

Kolhapur (Maharashtra) : When obscenity comes out in perverted manner, it creates problems jeopardizing safety of a woman; more than her freedom. Such obscenity is being exhibited on Sunny Leone’s website and there is no control over it. This is causing harm to society and everyone needs to make attempts for imposition of ban on such website. Such perversion is detrimental to Indian culture. Her website should be banned immediately as freedom given to women should not turn to promiscuity. The above demand was made by advocate Ranajit Singh Ghatge during demonstrations staged under aegis of ‘Rashtriya Hindu Andolan’ at the Chowk with ‘Shivaji Maharaj’s statue’, on 17th May 2015.

Shri. Sanjay Kulkarni, Vice President of Hindu Mahasabha said, “If the Government was planning to grab gold from Hindus’ temples, we will not tolerate it and we shall use arms to fight against such plan.” Members of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) viz. Shri. Rajan Bunage, Shri. Madhukar Nazare, Sou. Surekha Kakade, Sou. Anita Bunage also expressed their views on the issue.

More than 30 people including Shri. Kishore Ghatge of Shiv Sena, Shri. Purushottam Patel of ‘Swadhyay Parivar’, Shri. Shivajirao Sase of ‘Hindu Ekata Andolan’, Shri. Rajesh Mete, Shri. Rajendra Shinde of Hindu Mahasabha, Dr. Mansingh Pawar, Shri. Preetam Pawar, Shri. Sudhakar Sutar, Shri. Pratap Kulkarni, Shri. Suhas Lokare, a devotee of His Holiness Todkar Maharaj, Shri. Avinash Poyekar of Sanatan Sanstha, Sou. Anita Bunage and Sou. Mrunal Tawade of Ranaragini Division were present.

Highlights : A ten year-old dumb girl was present at the venue of demonstrations, she participated as also helped in winding up work . She paid obeisance to the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj before leaving.
