Removal of Central Film Censor Board for issuing certification for release of films despite their hurting religious sentiments of people !

Demand through Rashtriya Hindu Andolan

Wardha (Maharashtra) : Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) held demonstrations at Shivaji Chowk under the aegis of Rashtriya Hindu Andolan. Sou. Sunita Jamanare of HJS, Shri. Pawan Gohatre, taluka-chief of Shiv Sena, Sou. Amruta Kottewar, Shiv Sena’s city-Chief of women’s wing, Sou. Jayashree Bhure, Bharati Kotambkar, Ranjana Donarkar, Sonali Ladekar etc. were present. About 30-35 people participated in the demonstrations.

Pro-Hindu activists demanded formation of a new Censor Board by dissolving existing Central Censor Board as it deliberately disregards religious identity of Hindus; so that the new Board will take note of Hindus’ sentiments as also preserve our culture. Pro-Hindu activists raised slogans against Censor Board.

A fanatic 300 metres away from the venue complained against this Andolan; demanding to lower volume of sound.  Hindus from nearby shops, however, took him to task by pointing out to him that he never raised objection to hooters sounded on mosques or at the time of elections; after which he kept quiet. A representation was submitted to the Dy. District Collector Shri. Sunil Gade .
