HJS’ participation : In a programme to create awareness on the atrocities happening against Hindus with special emphasis on awareness on Love Jihad

Cochin (Kerala) : A public awareness programme on the atrocities happening against Hindus, especially emphasising on Love Jihad was organised by Hindu Aikya vedi in co-ordination with Vysya Youth group at Janardhana Kalyana Mandapam, Fort Kochi on 16th November. About 220 people participated in this programme. Ms. Praneeta Sukhtankar of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti and Shri. Aneesh Krishnan, State coordinator of Hindu Helpline spoke on the occasion.

Dr. Manu Pratap of Lakeshore hospital was also an invitee to the function who spoke on the present state of Hindus. Speaking on the occasion, Shri. Aneesh highlighted the different ways in which our Hindu girls are being lured into love jihad, its effects and consequences.

Ms. Praneeta spoke on the causes of love jihad and the solutions for the same. She stressed that the need of the hour was studying about our Dharma and practising it. The programme was well accepted by the audience.

Highlights of the programme

 1. This programme was arranged in about 5 days and the local public took very good initiative to make many people attend the lecture.

 2. The hall arrangements were started with a prayer and before leaving the hall the organisers offered gratitude also.

 3. There was demand for similar classes in the future.

 4. Though the program got over at 9 pm, most of the people were still sitting attentively and listening to the lectures.

 5. Various flex posters educating Hindus on Hindu Dharma and ways by which we can do our part in protecting Dharma were displayed at the venue.
