Government ploy to take over temples land – Netaji Gurav

Pune (Maharashtra): Shri. Netaji Gurav, the President of Gurav community said that it was the ploy of the Government to take over land owned by the temples. A conference of Gurav community was held at Sree Bormalnath Mandir to demand handing over rights of temple land gifted to the community. He said that none of the parties would attend to the problems of handing over lands gifted to Gurav community and they would have to fight for their right. People from Gurav community had come down from various districts to attend the one-day conference. Members of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti were also present.
             
Shri. Netaji Gurav said that the Government has already taken over 70 % of the lands belonging to Gurav community and the Government is now planning to pass such Act to legally take over all lands belonging to temples. He informed that a march will be taken out to office of district Collector of Satara on 23 rd July to discuss about getting back all lands from the Govt. Shri. Sunil Ghanavat, the spokesperson of HJS said that the intentions of the Government are not very good; but it wants only to grab the money and lands belonging to the temple. The decision taken by Gurav community is the sign of their unity. Many leaders of the Gurav community attended from all over the State.
