Coronation Day of King Shivaji is Hindavi Independence Day!

Sangali: On the 13th day (trayodashi) of the first fortnight of the month of ‘Jyeshtha’ in the year 1596, as per Hindu calendar, coronation ceremony was held to enthrone Punyashlok Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj as King of Hindavi Swaraj with chanting of holy Veda-mantras and sprinkling holy water from 7 rivers and 7 seas. Shri. Balasaheb Bedage, the President of Sree Shivapratishthan has appealed that considering the significance of the day of coronation; all Hindus should celebrate the same as Hindavi Independence Day festival.

In such adverse conditions, exhibiting great bravery and valour so also sacrifice, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj established independent sovereign Hindavi Swaraj by defeating Mughal kings and protected Hindus, Hindu Dharma, and Hindustan. He encouraged Hindus to obliterate Muslim attackers. He created a great future for Hindustan. In today’s unstable and perilous times, to get inspiration to win over such situation, it is necessary for all patriots to celebrate Hindavi Independence day with great gusto, said Shri. Bedage.
