Representation to Dhule DC to detain the Ravi Varma Award

Dhule: A representation was given on behalf of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS), Hindu Rakshak Samiti and Hindus to withdraw ‘Raja Ravi Varma’ Award conferred by Kerala’s communist Government to perverse anti-Hindu M F Husain. The representation was accepted by Shri. Paradeshi, the Resident District Collector.

Shri. Vinay Panvalkar of HJS said that Kerala Government has hurt feelings of all Hindus by naming M F Hussain for the award. Kerala Government should re-think as there are thousands of complaints lodged against Hussain all over the country for denigrating Hindu deities. Maharashtra Government should convey the feelings of Hindus to Kerala Government.

Shri. Hiraman Appa Gawali, Regional President of Hindu Ekata Samiti, Dr. Mahesh Ghugari of BJP, Shri. Mahesh Mistry of Hindu Rakshak Samiti, Shri. Vijay Bhattad and Shri. Avinash Sonar of Shiv Sena, Shri. Pravin Gaikwad of Swaswarup Sampradaya, Shri. Devadhar Marathe of Navbharat Yuva Shakti, Shri. Vijay Chaudhary of Jai Jawan Chowk, seekers of Sanatan Sanstha and many Hindus were present on the occasion. Copies of the representation have been forwarded to the Chief Minister and Dy. Chief Minister of the State.
