Hindu girl converted and married to a Christian

Nashik: Nowadays in Nashik area, Christians have been luring poor, uneducated people and converting them to Christianity. Recently, a Hindu girl was converted and was married off to a Christian boy. A prayer meeting was recently organized by Christian missionaries in Panchavati area. Under the guise of prayer meeting, there was a plan to baptize 3couples and to get them married.

Some Hindu organizations learned about missionaries’ ploy of conversion of Hindus. Members of these organizations went to the venue to find out about the program when they were informed by the people collected in the hall to attend the marriage ceremony. The program, that was to start at 12.00 noon, did not start even till 3.00 as the pastor had not reached. As a matter of fact, the pastor came to know about members of Hindu organizations visiting the venue and instead of going to the hall, they carried out the conversion program in a nearby place. Six persons were baptized there. As members of Hindu Organizations learned about it, they took the newly married couple to the police station. The police, however, did not register a complaint as the couple was not minor.

About 60-70 persons were present for the program. Most of them were poor and uneducated from Peth village. The staff at the venue informed that people are collected for such programs from different villages by paying them money.

(Beware Hindu girls! Christians are trying such methods only to convert people. Hindus do not know the greatness of their religion due to lack of knowledge about Dharma and are falling prey to such baits.Hindus must demand laws prohibiting conversions- Editor)
