There is a Shiva temple in Panjarpol Gou-shala. Vijay Kabra, a trustee of the temple was against the Shiva temple. Immediately after his election as Chairman of the Board of Trustees, he pressurized the temple priests and made them remove idols from the temple. As people came to know about the incident, many members of Hindu organizations contacted Shri. Patil, the Inspector of the concerned police station. Nearly 400 Hindus had gathered to protest against Vijay Kabra and Bharatbhai Shah. On 16 th April, the idols were re-consecrated.
