Faridabad : Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) and Sanatan Sanstha, Varanasi jointly organized New Year celebrations on the occasion of ‘Gudhi Padva’ at Sri Ramkrushna Mandir. The function was attended by more than 50 seekers and devout Hindus.

Dharmacharya Shri. Suresh Shastriji performed ‘havan’ as per ‘Vaidik’ method. Shri. Sachin and Dr. R. D. Bhansal acted as host of the ceremony. ‘Brahma-Dhvaj- pujan’ was performed by Pundit Devicharanji, the Chief Priest of Ramkrushna Temple through Dr. Bhupesh Sharma and Dr. (Sou.) Poonam Sharma. Shri. Sandeep Munjal explained about Hindu New Year and Smt. Trupti Joshi spoke about ‘Brahma-dhvaj’. Shri. Abhay Kinger expressed his views on establishment of Hindu Rashtra.

Acharya Suresh Shastri, Pt. Devicharanji, Ramkrushna Temple’s Chief Priest, Dr. R. D. Bhansal, ‘Pradhan’ of the Temple and Smt. Asha Gupta, reader of ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ were felicitated on this auspicious occasion. The program was concluded with offering ‘Arghya’ to Sun-God and gratitude to Srikrushna.
