Days after he dissolved his 49-day long Government in Delhi after accusing other political parties of not willing to pass his Jan Lokpal Bill in Delhi Assembly, former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, according to whom rampant corruption was the key to all problems that India is facing, is shifting goal posts now.
IITians against AAP rip into Kejriwal, tell him to stop lie-peddling.
The AAP convener has now said communalism is a bigger problem in the country than corruption.
As per a report published in The Indian Express, the Aam Aadmi Party leader, while addressing prominent Muslim academics and intelligentsia at the India Islamic Cultural Centre said, “Communalism is a bigger problem in front of the country than corruption and it is never about people fighting each other.”
Kejriwal : The method in his madness
Although Kejriwal made a powerful pitch against communalism, the absence of Muslim candidates in AAP’s first list and his reluctance to commit to a face-off with Modi agitated some in the audience, the report further said.
The recent development is a clear indication of AAP toing Congress’s lines, ahead of Lok Sabha poll, and further cementing the claims of AAP being Congress’s B-team.
