Mumbai: 'It is wrong on the part of the Government to take over temples and religious institutions. It is therefore, necessary that ' Dharma-Satta' have control over 'Raj-Satta'. This statement was made by Sreemad Jagatguru Shankarachrya Mahasthanam of Sree Ramachandrapur Matt, Karnataka when he was talking to a delegation of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS).

During Swamiji's stay in Mumbai, Dr. Durgesh Samant, the all-India spokesperson of HJS met and informed Him about the activities of the HJS and gave a representation against the proposed anti-Hindu Temple Take-over Act. Swamiji was presented with a few Sanatan Sanstha’s publications. He blessed the members of HJS and gave them 'prasad'. Swamiji praised HJS activities and invited Sanatan Sanstha’s seekers to keep a book stall at the forthcoming 'Vishwa Gau Sammelan' that will take place in His ashram in Karnataka and also attend the program.
