Dharmajagruti Satsang gets overwhelming response in Chennai

A Dharmajagruti Satsang was organised by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti at Panigraha Kalyana Mandap, Chennai on 18th May, 2013, Saturday at 5.30 p.m. The program started with lighting of the auspicious lamp by dignitaries. A video on the introduction of HJS activities was shown. It was followed by a short speech on conversion and its remedies by Shri. Radhakrishnan, a HJS member.

A Dharmasikshan video about the correct method of birthday celebration, inauguration of a premises etc. was shown. During the display of videos, Sou. Ragini Premnath explained the matter in tamil.  A lecture on ‘The necessity of establishment of Hindu Rashtra” was delivered by the HJS co-ordinator Sou.Uma Ravichandran.  Then a short video on Hindu Adhiveshan was shown. The program ended with a group discussion on the various sevas available for Gurupournima, 2013. Around 70 devout Hindus participated in this program. Shri. Balasubramaniam, a HJS member compered the whole program.

Highlights :

• This program was initiated by Shri. Radhakrishnanji who is having an intense desire to spread HJS activities throughout Tamilnadu. When HJS members thanked Shri. Radhakrishnanji for all the seva he did with so much interest. For that, he told that he didn't do anything. He is not capable of doing this. It is only due to God's Grace that he was able to do as a medium.

• He booked the hall and got the invitation pamphlets printed.

• Many of the devout Hindus invited by him stayed till the end of the program and gave assurance to participate in various sevas.

• Shri. Vellappanpillai came from Kanyakumari especially to attend this program. He is the owner of a marriage hall in kanyakumari. He assured not only to provide the hall free of cost for HJS activities but also extend any other help needed.

• Shri. Kartikeyanji of Kanchi Mutt, who is doing the seva of teaching slokas to children immediately agreed to sponsor 100 Gurupournima special issues and also panchangs. He volunteered to book a hall for another HJS program in which he requested a lecture and three CDs to be shown.

• Shri. Shankar, an ardent devout Hindu assured that he is prepared to do any seva given by Shri. Radhakrishnanji. He is having a printing press. This program’s pamphlet was printed by him.

• Majority of the audience were new and they were attending HJS program for the first time.

• Shri. Radhakrishnanji gave the feedback that many of the devout Hindus liked the Hindu Rashtra concept as expounded by HJS and Sanatan Sanstha.

• Few devout Hindus came well in advance and helped in the seva of hall preparation, putting up flex etc. They also stayed back after the program and took part in winding up seva.
