HJS demands action against the ‘beef throwers’

Solapur: Earlier a news was given regarding how beef was deliberately thrown in front of a famous Shiva temple at Solapur in Mahashivaratri by anti-social elements with the intention of denigrating Lord Shiva. Thereafter the HJS had demanded that the perpetrators be punished severely by submitting a memorandum to the Assistant Police Inspector, Mr. Prashant Sampate.

Those present when submitting it were Shri. Bharat Gowli the propaganda chief of the Shiva Sena; Shri. Arun Rupner, deputy chief of the Maharashtra Navanirman Sena; Shri. Sanjay Ingle and Shri. Ramesh Jadhav chairmen of the Jivhala group; Shri. Bharat Raut, district chief and members  Shri. Yashvant Raut and Shri. Khandu Pavar of the Shri sect ; Shri. Santosh Patne of the HJS; Shri. Deepak Dikshit of the Sanatan Sanstha; Shri. Satish Sawant journalist of the ‘Solapur Vruttadarshan’; Shri. Santosh Bhandare and 18 other Hindu protagonists. On receipt of the memorandum Shri. Prashant Sampate assured that all measures would be taken to stop denigration of the temple deity and to mete out severe punishment to the offenders.

Reactions of Hindu protagonists

  • Shri. Bharat Raut, district chief of the Shri sect : If in this matter the involved anti-social elements are not taken to task then we shall resort to an intense agitation.
  • Shri. Santosh Patne, HJS: This shameful act of anti-social elements committed on the auspicious day of Mahashivaratri has not only hurt the sentiments of Hindus but has also made an attempt to offend them. To ensure that these offenders are punished severely Hindus need to put up a united front. Only that will frighten them. We shall now make all possible efforts to unite Hindus.

(Congratulations to these Hindus who have united for a just cause, against denigration of Hindu deities. We need such Hindus all over! – Editor)
