Vadodara (Gujarat) : An exhibition was held at Sarjan Art Gallery under the name of ‘100 years of history of Indian films’ in which Hindu-hater M F Husain’s paintings were also on display. Activists of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) called up the organizer of the exhibition, Shri. Hitesh Rana and created awareness towards the issue advising him over phone to remove the paintings by Husain. Later, HJS activists once again called him up and demanded to remove Husain’s paintings, then the paintings were removed. HJS activists met Shri. Rana for explaining the subject, when he rendered apology to them for his mistake. He also promised not to commit such mistake in future. Shri. Rana praised activities undertaken by HJS assuring them to extend necessary cooperation.
