Belgaum: India adopted democratic governance after independence, but in the last 73 years, many problems are faced by the country such as corruption, appeasement, conversions, cow-slaughtering, etc. Hindu Rashtra (Nation) is the solution to all these problems, and we need to make united efforts for the same, was an appeal made by Mr Rhushikesh Gurjar of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) while addressing the participants in ‘Hindu Rashtra Sanghatak’ workshop held by HJS in the hall of Banashankari Temple at Bazaar Lane, Vadgaon. Devout Hindus from Belgaum city, Basurte, Nandihalli, Khanapur, Ramnagar, etc participated in the workshop.

The workshop was started with the blowing of the conch and lighting the lamp. Mr Satyavijay Naik explained the purpose of holding such a workshop. Mr Rhushikesh Gurjar explained the basic concept of establishing Hindu Rashtra, ways of efforts to achieve this goal, and what kind of efforts required. Ms Sangita Naik spoke, in detail, about the importance of spiritual practice (sadhana) in life and related actual actions.

A session on practical training was conducted on the development of skills of the participants, which included seeking permission for staging demonstrations, contacting temple trustees in connection with governments taking over their management, etc. The participants were very enthusiastic to take part in the practical training. It followed with group discussions on how one can join various drives undertaken by HJS and what kind of service can one render as part of one’s duty towards Dharma.

2. One devout participant could not attend the workshop on the first day, so felt bad, but he was happy that he could attend on the second day and liked the programs held on that day.
