Delhi: Gym trainer Imran kills Hindu girl Muskan at her home in Tilak Nagar

Imran murdered her after she refused his marriage proposal

New Delhi – On the evening of 26 August in the Tilak Nagar area, Imran barged into the house of a 21-year-old girl named Muskan and stabbed her to death with a knife. Imran is a gym trainer and has fled following the murder. Muskan was alone at home at the time of the incident. Imran murdered her because she rejected his proposal of marriage.

According to the police, Imran entered the house when Muskan’s family members were away and attacked her with a knife. Upon receiving information about the incident, the police rushed to the spot and initiated an investigation. To trace the accused, CCTV footage from the area is being examined to determine how he entered the house and which route he used to flee after the murder.

After stabbing Muskan multiple times, Imran stole her mobile phone in an attempt to destroy digital chat evidence and hideouts. Following an extensive manhunt by over 15 police teams, Imran was intercepted near the sub-registrar’s office in Rajouri Garden. When cornered, he opened fire at the police team, leading to a retaliatory gunfight where he was shot in the legs and subsequently arrested.

Muskan was a student and also engaged in part-time modelling. According to her friend, Imran was a trainer at her gym. He had been stalking Muskan for some time and was pressuring her for marriage. The friend also alleged that Imran was harassing her because Muskan was not talking to him. Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Abhishek Gupta stated that the search for the accused is underway.
