Nagothane (District Raigad) : ‘Agnihotra’ is a gift given by the ancient Sages to purify the atmosphere. Since Agnihotra is a yajna free of any ritualistic restrictions, anyone can do it. While performing Agnihotra, a protective shield of the radiance of Prajapati and Surya is formed. This also stunts the growth of micro-organisms. Agnihotra has the potential to neutralise harmful radiation from explosives, such as the atomic bomb. Regular Agnihotra creates a protective shield of Divine energy, stated Mr Manish Mali of the HJS while delivering a discourse on ‘Agnihotra’ organized by Hindu Janajagruti Manch on the occasion of ‘World Agnihotra Day’ at Shri Hanuman Temple in Angar Aali. The importance of Agnihotra, its benefits and the actual action of performing Agnihotra were also demonstrated along with the theoretical discussions. Many curious people attended the discourse.

The discourse was organized by Mr Dhananjay Jadhav of the Hindu Janajagruti Manch. Mr Chetan Kamthe (of the Hindu Janajagruti Manch) felicitated Dr Rohidas Shelke, HBP Bapu Majaraj Raokar (of the Rashtriya Warkari Parishad) and Mr Manish Mali of the HJS.
